Since 1979, family run Omni Furnishing has been furnishing homes all over the UK. From our main base in Edinburgh we have seen furniture fashions come and go, and throughout we have always maintained our reputation for quality products and great service. From traditional to funky, solid wood to cane, and our very successful expansion into upholstery, we know you can find anything you need here (ok, almost anything!).

Since we started we have always followed the same pricing policy, that is; we charge a very reasonable and realistic price (we don't set overinflated prices just to knock 50-70% off) and any reductions reflect great value for money.

Please could you explain UK Bed Sizes ?

Standard UK/British sizes are:

Single = 3ft x 6ft 3" = 90 x 190cm

Double = 4ft 6" x 6ft 3" = 135 x 190cm

King = 5ft x 6ft 6" = 150 x 200cm

Superking = 6ft x 6ft 6" = 180 x 200cm

Sizes of UK beds are not the same as European or American sizes.

Do you sell mattresses?

Yes, we have a large variety of quality mattresses on display at all three of our stores.

How long does delivery usually take?

It all depends on which furniture you're interested in. Stock items are available for immediate delivery, but generally speaking most specially ordered ranges take 6-12 weeks. Some of the companies we deal with can be as quick as 3 weeks. However, as we do deal with goods from all over the world there can be delays which are out of our control: if this happens we will do our best to chase things and keep you informed of progress.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes, you can buy gift vouchers of any value that can be used in any Omni Furnishing store.

Have you any new ranges in?

Yes, we always have new items on order that arrive frequently.

Are you a national company?

No, but many people think we are! Our stores are all in Edinburgh but we deliver to most parts of the UK. Check out our delivery page for details.

Troubleshooting

How can I align my bedroom doors ?

Wardrobe doors are factory adjusted with the wardrobe standing on a calibrated flat floor. However, if the floor of your room is not completely flat, the doors may hang out of alignment. The quickest solution to this is usually to insert packing under one foot of the wardrobe, so that the doors regain their alignment. You can check which foot to pack by pushing and/or pulling carefully on each of the two top front corners of the wardrobe in turn, and observing the effect on door alignment.
